&ldquoGoals allow you to control the direction of change in your favor."  -Brian Tracy

In Achieving Success - Part 1, we discussed the fact that how you choose to spend your time makes a real difference in achieving success.  In Achieving Success - Part 2 we picked a goal and imagining and envisioning it. In Achieving Success - Part 3 we picked one step toward a goal and looked at what might be keeping us from taking that step forward.

It takes courage and acts of bravery to reach our goals and achieve success.

The truth is, in order to reach your goals and achieve success it helps to be real with yourself.  By being real, I mean really being willing to look, as best you can, at what your strengths and weaknesses are.  We all have them.

No one is great at everything. The belief that you need to be able to do it all alone could paralyze you.

What specific tasks, actions, or areas do you neglect in your life and/or business? You don&rsquot have to tell others, but you do need to know this for yourself.

Some of what we neglect or avoid, we might be able to delegate or hire out, but some of it we need to do ourselves. Those tasks have skill sets required to accomplish them.

Take a moment and think about what it is that you are neglecting or avoiding.

Pick one thing that you are neglecting or avoiding that stands out for you and do the following:

&bull    Notice what you sense in your body as you imagine doing this one thing.
&bull    Notice what you feel emotionally as you imagine doing this one thing.
&bull    Notice where your thoughts go as you imagine doing this one thing.
&bull    Notice your spiritual connection as you imagine doing this one thing.

What stood out for you? What limiting feelings or thoughts do you need to face so that you can stop neglecting or avoiding doing this one thing?

Deep breath. Spend the next few days writing about and being with those limiting feelings and thoughts that come up around doing this one thing.

Let me know how it goes.

Please share your thoughts. Your comments make a difference for us all.
