&ldquoThere is no achievement without goals."
- Robert J. McKain
In Achieving Success part 1, we discussed the fact that how you choose to spend your time makes a real difference in achieving success.
If asked, I think most of us would say we would like to achieve &ldquosuccess.&rdquo That might mean different things to different people at different points in their lives.
In order to achieve in any area, we need to set our goals. Perhaps these goals are related to our school lives, work lives, careers, our personal lives, making our homes comfortable, good relationships, rearing children, taking care of our bodies, and others. Maybe for you it has been all of them at one time or another.
In order to achieve greater success, it could help to focus on one goal you would like to achieve.
So, right now, take a deep breath. Use this breath to have a moment to pick one of your current goals. Maybe you&rsquod like to close your eyes for a moment and see which of all your goals seems to want your attention right now. Now imagine this goal.
&bull    Notice what you sense in your body as you imagine this goal.
&bull    Notice what you feel emotionally as you imagine this goal.
&bull    Notice where your thoughts go as you imagine this goal.
&bull    Notice your spiritual connection as you imagine this goal.
With all of this in mind, what stood out for you? Where are you weakest or have the most discomfort as you imagine this goal?
What happens if you see yourself achieving this goal?
Every day this week spend a few minutes, envisioning achieving this goal. Notice what comes up each time, if anything, and how it changes through the week.
Next, we will be furthering our work with this goal or you can pick another goal if you&rsquod like.
Please share your thoughts. Your comments make a difference for us all.
