She's back! On February 1st I have the pleasure of visiting once again with Sharon Salzberg. And she has something wonderful to share!

 
February 1st is also the kickoff date for Sharon's 28-Day Meditation Challenge. Now is the time to buy her book and follow along on your journey to inviting meditation into your life, "Real Happiness: The Power of Meditation: A 28-Day Program".
 
The written word is central to Sharon Salzberg’s teaching and studies and is influenced by Buddhist Chogyam Trungpa and Shunryu Suzuki.
 
She is a regular contributor the the Huffington Post, and was a contributing editor of Oprah’s O Magazine for several years. She has appeared in Time Magazine, Yoga Journal, msnbc.com, Tricycle, Real Simple, Body & Soul, Mirabella, Good Housekeeping, Self, Buddhadharma, More and Shambhala Sun, as well as on a variety of radio programs.

During the month of February, we are inviting a diverse group of people to participate in the meditation program that Sharon Salzberg has laid out in her latest book, Real Happiness: The Power of Meditation: A 28-Day Program
 
In the group participating we have people from all over North America (and beyond). We are asking them to reflect on their experiences—pleasant, difficult, and in between—and let us know how it's going. Comments are welcome from anyone, whether they are amongst the group blogging or not.
 
We had the opportunity to do this last February and a beautiful sense of community and support grew as we all practiced together and shared our experiences. We hope that the challenge can again foster real dialogue about the potential of meditation to change one's life, and will intrigue more people to find out what meditation is all about.
