It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about our business or personal life, we all feel stuck from time to time. That may occur differently for different people. You might feel anxious and worried, or paralyzed and unable to take action. You might be overwhelmed and scattered, running around trying to put out the nearest fire. You might just feel indecisive and powerless, unable to determine exactly what you need to do next.
If your cash flow makes you want to weep, if you’re confused about your next step, or if you’re hesitant to hire or fire someone, your lack of movement is usually an outer reflection of an inner problem. You may not feel good enough or that you deserve success. Perhaps you’re afraid of making the wrong move because you can’t trust yourself. You may not be sufficiently connected to your inner life of feelings and thoughts, ignoring your gut, with its emotional and intuitive insights. Or you may be ignoring your head, discounting your intelligence, wisdom, experience, or knowledge.
Just as your continuing education in your field leads to greater success in business, deepening your internal connection–living more consciously–will help you break free and find potential for growth in your “stuck-ness.” The more you understand your internal processes, the easier it will be to make sound decisions, solve problems quickly and enjoy your success.
Getting “unstuck” requires a little digging, and knowing that all areas of your life are just outward manifestations of your internal experience. When you begin to observe, investigate and nurture your internal life, your external world will thrive. You’ll have greater clarity, peace of mind, and the mental, emotional and physical stamina you need to make your business thrive.
