Right nowI, across North America, people are reading ebooks. Althought it's a normal daily occurance, this week is special because March 3rd to March 9th is "Read an Ebook Week", here in the United States. The Canadian Parliament has taken it even further by declaring the entire month of March as, "Read an Ebook Month."
I love this because I love books! Reading is such an important avenue of self-awareness and self-growth. The information you gain from books not only increases your knowledge, but when you put what you’ve learned into practice books can literally change your life.
The popularity of Ebooks has opened up new pathways to knowledge by giving previously out-of-print or hard-to-find books a new life. They’ve also made reading a lot easier—a 700 page book is now as light and easy to hold as a 100 page book, and you can take your entire library with you wherever you go! Even though I love paper books with their look and feel, as an author, as well as a reader, I’m thrilled to have this other option.
In honor of “Read an Ebook Week,” here are several ebooks you might find helpful:
NOTE: If you haven't gotten an e-ready, yet, such as Amazon's Kindle or Barnes & Noble's Nook, you can still ready ebooks by downloading free ebook reading apps that allow you to read ebooks on your computer, tablet, or phone
