One who is ‘liberated in life’; while continuing to live in the human body and acting in the world; In Sikhism, a person who has achieved “Jivan Mukat” has attained liberation from the cycle of life and death, while still in the human body. A Jivan-mukti is one who has inwardly ceased to identify with the individual condition, and is liberated from it.
