One of the four universes or worlds in the Kabbalah. In the Kabbalistic universe corresponds to the body and the physical world. It is a world of action and appearance. In Assiyah, the light of God is concealed; there is a prevalent disconnection from God and some texts say an attachment to evil. It is the lowest of the four worlds. Imbued with the upper worlds, it can be God’s world fully realized.
